Shakespeare at Winedale is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant
A rare and prestigious achievement
The College of Liberal Arts has undertaken a campaign to fund Shakespeare at Winedale in perpetuity through the creation of a $3 million Shakespeare at Winedale endowment. We are happy to announce that, as part of this effort, Shakespeare at Winedale has completed their $1 million Challenge Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
This is a rare and prestigious achievement, and we are very honored to be recognized at the national level. NEH has matched $200,000. to the $800,000. that individuals, foundations and corporations contributed to complete the challenge. As we begin to celebrate the 36th year of the program, we are very grateful for all the University and community support that made this happen.
To make a donation toward our goal of a $3 million endowment, please make checks payable to the University of Texas at Austin, marked for "Shakespeare at Winedale" and send to Shakespeare at Winedale, University of Texas at Austin, 1 University Station B5000, Austin, TX 78712.
