Shakespeare at Winedale Endowment

The College of Liberal Arts has undertaken a campaign to fund Shakespeare at Winedale in perpetuity through the creation of a $3 million Shakespeare at Winedale endowment. We are happy to announce that, as part of this effort, Shakespeare at Winedale has been awarded a Challenge Grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. This is a rare and prestigious achievement, and we are very honored to be recognized at the national level. NEH has matched $200,000 to the $800,000 that individuals, foundations and corporations contributed to complete the challenge. As we begin to celebrate the 38th year of the program, we are very grateful for all the University and community support that made this happen.
